Its a Girl Thing 2007

Date: June 16 - 20, 2008

 

Ages:  7th - 8th Grades (student who will be in this grade Fall 2008)

 

Cost:  $250.00 - Includes housing, meals, t-shirt, and all supplies. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Rolla. A full refund will be made if not selected to attend.  Due to the limited amount of space available and the high volume of applications received all requests for refunds must be made in writing to the WISE office by May 1, 2008.  There is a $30 processing and cancellation fee for all refunds. No refunds will be given after May 1, 2008.  Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing of refunds.

 

Capacity:  Space is limited to 40 students

This week long live-in middle-school program is designed to provide a fun and introductory engineering, science and technology experience to girls entering 7th and 8th grades.  The students will be exposed to the various science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) career fields and encouraged to explore their personal interests through group projects and design oriented competitions.

SUBMITTING THE REGISTRATION FORM DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE OR HOLD YOUR PLACE IN CAMP.YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL ALL FORMS AND PAYMENT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

  1. Complete the on-line registration form (if you are unable to complete the form on-line please contact our office at 573-341-7286 to request the application be mailed to you);
    Print, sign, and mail the  General Permission Form, Agreement & Release of Liability form, and Youth Health Statement Form ;
    Submit check or money order for $250 (if not paying online by credit card).

  2. Mail all forms and check made payable to the Missouri University of Science and Technology to:
